Space Junk – Metamorphia Recycled Collection

Presenting the first Metamorphia Recycled collection featuring elements of hand-pressed, recycled acrylic scraps from past Celestial Closet collections!
Sheets of recycled acrylic are made up of offcut and scrap pieces collected from Celestial Closet and other acrylic jewellery makers, saving this plastic from landfill, and are heat pressed together by Christine in the Celestial Closet studio and laser cut again. All leftover recycled material can be broken up and pressed again.

Each recycled jewellery item is listed individually, due to very distinct variations in pattern in the recycled sheets. You will receive the exact item that is pictured.

Please note that due to the manual sheet pressing process, that the thickness of recycled sheets may vary, and there may be small surface imperfections such as small dents or pits or uneven surface texture. This adds to the beauty of the final product. Recycled acrylic elements are backed with a thin FSC certified Koskiply plywood backing for stability and to make the earrings more lightweight.

Dimensions: The main planet piece is 5.5cm at the widest point (including rings) and 3.4cm high. It hangs from a stainless steel bar stud finding, total drop is 7.5cm.

This style is a Stud Post and comes with Comfort Backs.
