STUDIO SAMPLE: VIVID – Liquid State Art Lamp: 03 – Horizon

Designed to be a beautiful addition to a bookshelf, bedside table or a wall, the “Liquid State” art lamps are a celebration of the prismatic spectrum of colour.

Three bold and colourful art lamps have been made especially for the VIVID exhibition at in.cube8r. All are one of a kind.

These multi-layered archway lamps have been created with a feature panel of multicoloured, gradient satin finish acrylic sheet, a coloured mirrored acrylic frame, and accented with organic, liquid-like hand-drawn mirrored shapes. A plywood back panel has two picture hanging hooks attached for wall mounting, and a custom-built LED light circuit has been soldered together and housed neatly inside.

This art lamp is designed to be enjoyed either with the light switched on or off – plug in the power cord to illuminate the arched panel and explore the shadows created by the free-flowing shapes.
